Total Compensation: $65k-$75k annually Onsite Location: Scottsdale, AZ Workplace Location: Fully Onsite Position Summary As a Video Editor, you will serve as the official editor for all things Cardone Ventures, editing mission-based objectives and supporting content creation for digital. To ensure success, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch Video Editor can perfectly translate an idea into a beautifully crafted film or video piece, worthy of digital. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Creates winning video assets that depict the brand and story of Cardone Ventures in a way that gets current and potential clients & team members excited to work with us Masterfully portrays Brandon and Natalie as business scaling experts through video content OBJECTIVES Work with the Marketing team to determine production vision Insert intentional dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects to enhance the story Utilize clips from podcasts to create engaging content for ads and social media Leverages AI technologies to enhance workflow Assist in using a studio space for live calls and other video content Create content that is optimized for social media platforms aligned with company wide campaigns and social media trends Create quick, same day turn around content for event promotional use and recaps Develop promotional content for digital platforms that are conversion driven (paid traffic) Cohesively tell a story through NLE (non-linear editing) using video, graphics, music, and sound design Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video content creation (Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve) Improve video and sound quality using various video software Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project Archive footage in a highly organized manner COMPETENCIES Experience producing and editing video content for a variety of digital platforms Ability to innovate with outside the box techniques through experimenting with trending/modern techniques – we need highly creative editing wizards Full understanding of Adobe Creative Suite - including Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects (additional programs like Davinci Resolve are a plus) Demonstrate the ability to craft story lines to “tell the story” in a captivating form Ability to create visually amazing (export liquid gold) content including cutting promos, podcasts, event recaps and live shows Advanced knowledge of professional production procedures, practices, project tracking/management, techniques and terminology Can keep on top of current video trends, innovations in camera and lighting technology, and effective practices to stay on top of creating effective video that will best connect with our audience Education And Experience ~ At least 3 years’ experience in an Editor position 10X TOTAL REWARDS We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees that includes: ~ Medical, dental, and vision for FT positions and their dependents ~ Vacation and sick time policy that increases based on tenure with the company ~ Three work from home days per month (4/month during June-August) ~ Employee Assistance Program through Guardian ~401k with up to 3% Company match ~ Pet Insurance through SPOT for your 10X pets! ~ Competitive parental leave policy: 100% paid - 8 weeks for primary caregiver, and 4 weeks for secondary caregiver + 1 month remote for both ~ Employee wellness initiatives including a 100% paid for gym membership and access to discounts on local meal prep services ~ Professional Development through reimbursements for courses/certifications outside of CV, and a 10X Mentorship Program ~ Continued Education: we provide team members complete access to our range of educational resources valued at over $250,000 in areas such as Sales, Operations, People, Finance and Marketing ~ Uncapped Commission Potential: all of our team members have the opportunity to sell our Products/Services (and are trained on how to do so).
